Back and Body Springfield treatments is going to give you a brief explanation of these treatments we can provide here for you, so that you can better know what your body needs.

MUA:

Manipulation under anesthesia involves a team with an anesthesiologist, primary chiropractor/surgeon/physician, and an assisting chiropractic/physician. The primary practitioner performs a combination of specific passive stretches, short lever manipulations, and articular and postural kinesthetic maneuvers while the patient is under general anesthesia.

Medical Massage: Medical massage reduces a patient’s inflammation and pain. It decreases muscle spasm and dysfunction. Depending on the condition, the physical therapist may use multiple procedures or modalities. These techniques can include deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, positional release, or strain/counterstrain.

NCVT:

NCVT is a medical test used to determine if a patient has suffered nerve damage or injury. It is often done with an electromyography (EMG) to help a physician determine if a problem is occurring between the nerves or the muscles.

Posture Correction:

Learning correct posture involves training the body to sit, stand, lie, and walk in positions that keep the muscles and joints in balance and place the least strain on ligaments.

Trigger Point Injections:

Trigger point injections treat active trigger points. The pain of active trigger points is “referred.” This means that while there is tenderness at the origin of the trigger point, the pain is felt in another area.

Spinal Decompression:

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-invasive and drug-free option which can treat pain resulting from degenerative discs, posterior facet syndrome, and disc herniation.

Ultrasound Therapy:

Ultrasound Therapy uses sound waves at a high frequency to stimulate tissue in the body, break down scar tissue, reduce pain, and promote healing.
